Orchard View Community Education Center Launches Simplweb Hosted Website

Orchard View Community Education Center, located in Muskegon, Michigan, just launched their elegant and interactive Simplweb website.  EnvigorDesign collaborated closely with the educational center to create a custom interface that focuses on early childhood through senior learning opportunities.

"Since it's inception in 1969 the goal of Orchard View Community Education has been to encourage community members to be engaged, whether that be through going back for their high school diploma, taking a cooking or exercise class, going on a trip with us across the country, learning a new skill for a better job, bringing their child to us for care and education, or gathering together to play a simple game of cards as many of our senior citizens do. Customers will find the new Orchard View Community Education website to be easy to navigate through with drop down menus and colorful images"

When designing the site, Darlene needed it to meet a number of functional requirements which Simplweb offers as part of it pre-installed extension package.  A few necessary items included:

• A user friendly way for the community to connect to the center
  
• The ability to promote the programs with a current events listing
• The ability for their members to sign up through the website for email and postal newsletters
• A slideshow to feature exciting aspects of the center
• Social Plugins like Twitter and Facebook
